With initial video inspections revealing solid waste accumulation and obstructed flows due to sagging sections, Westra replaced a failing 8-inch sanitary sewer line with a new 10-inch system to improve capacity and reliability. Westra designed the improvements within existing easements, coordinated manhole placement to meet City and TCEQ regulatory standards, and utilized both open-cut and trenchless construction methods to minimize neighborhood disruption.
